Today saw an ad in newspaper about a toll free help line for Delhites where they can log in their complaints regarding civic amenities like roads, street lights, parks etc. Tried calling atleast 20 times but the lines were always busy. Suggest that atleast 100 lines be opened if the venture is to be useful.
This is a much delayed idea. Also, apart from telephone, they should also allow emils to be sent to a central number.
Now that Sheela auntie and Manmohan uncle have been forced into a corner, maybe some good will emerge. One thing that has always bothered me is how illeterate our political class is. When the pathetic status of games readiness is all around for even a blind man to see, why couldnt these worthies see it? Dont they read newspapers?
